May 24- N.E.W. DIRT is set for a BIG night of racing Sunday night at the Seymour Speedway.

The first leg of the 2013 Summer Holiday Classic series takes to the track with 6 divisions featuring the WDLMA Late Models.   The big late models will run a 30 lap feature on the 1/3 mile banked clay oval and will be joined by the Budweiser IMCA Modifieds, Coors Light IMCA Stock Cars, IMCA Sort Mods, Street Stocks and 4 Cylinders.

WDLMA expects a field of close to 30 cars for this event.   The winner will receive the first plaque to Honor the Memory of WDLMA founder Bill Behling, who passed away this past November.    Bill was one of the founding members of N.E.W. DIRT when the club was formed in 1984 to keep racing in Seymour alive.   With the 30th Anniversary this year, officials  wanted a way to show their appreciation to the man who had a life long commitment to racing, not only in the state of Wisconsin, but far beyond its borders.

The pit will open at 2 PM Sunday.   Pit passes for this event will be $20.00 across the board.   The Late Models have a $25.00 entry fee.

The grandstand will open at 3 PM.  Admission for this special event is $15.00 for adults,  Seniors over 55 and students 13-18 are $10.00 and as always, kids 12 and under are FREE with an adult.

The green flag drops at 5 PM Sunday.  

The weather will be clear but a bit cool Sunday, but what  perfect weather for a full on night of hot racing action. 

May 22- N.E.W. DIRT, along with Victory Sign and Frank's Place will present the first leg of the 2013 SUMMER HOLIDAY CLASSIC series this Sunday, May 26 at the Seymour Speedway.

The WDLMA LATE MODELS will be the Headliners and will run a 30 lap feature.   Joining the full program will be the Budweiser IMCA Modifiedss, Coors Light IMCA Stock Cars, IMCA Sport Mods, Street Stocks and 4 Cylinders.

The pit will open at 2 PM with the grandstand opening AT 3 pm.   Racing will start at 5 PM.

The second leg will take place on Sunday June 30 and the final on Sunday September 1. 

May 19- 8:30 AM-   The weather is finally co-operating and it will be a perfect night to bring the Family out to the Seymour Speedway for a full 6 division program on the 1/3 mile banked clay oval.    

The first of 5 Spectator Eliminator events will close tonights event.

Minuteman Press and Bumper to Bumper are the sponsors and will join the club in honoring our Veterans.   All past and present service men and women will be admitted FREE.

Pit opens at 2 PM, Grandstand at 3 PM with racing ate 5PM.

Don't forget, the 3 race Summer Holiday Classic series kicks off next Sunday night on Memorial Day Weekend featuring the WDLMA Late Models
