A pair of late afternoon showers forced NEW DIRT officials to cancel the racing program here at Seymour Speedway Sunday night.

A total of 135 cars showed up to race, including IMCA modifieds, stock cars, northern sportmods, street stocks and 4 bangers. The entire program, including round two of the Summer Holiday Classic late model special, will be run next Sunday, July 11.

Frank’s Place of Seymour will sponsor the races, which begins at 6 p.m. The track phone is (920) 833-7726.
