Custom Windows Plus team driver Kyle Frederick of Gillett had the crowd on it’s feet at Seymour Speedway June 6, as the veteran IMCA stock car driver fought off many of the toughest drivers in the country, including defending track champion Shawn Wagner, to win the feature and snap Wagner’s four straight win streak.
Frederick also won his heat Sunday, nailing down a clean sweep in what’s often referred to as the “class too tough to tame.” “For Kyle to win against a tough field of guys, including Shawn Wagner, that says a lot,” said Jon Courchaine of Custom Windows Plus, who was in attendance Sunday. “That class is loaded with talent, and anytime you can get a win, it says a lot.”
