(Seymour, WI)- Krakow’s Lance Arneson battled his way to the front to capture the Budweiser IMCA Modified feature. Other winners were Kyle Frederick in the IMCA Stockcars, Rod Solem in the IMCA Northern Sportmods, and Matt Drawenek in the Street Stocks. Scott Mullen used his pole starting position to grab the early lead in the Budweiser IMCA Modified feature. Jerry Wilinski would make his way from eighth to second in a couple of laps and run down Mullen. Wilinski would use the highline to power by Mullen and grab the lead. A lap 14 caution for a spin would group the field. Lance Arneson would use the restart to his advantage and make his way to second. Arneson would track down Wilinski and use a power move down low to take the lead. Arneson and Wilinski would exchange the lead over the last three laps with Arneson eventually picking up the win at the checkers. Wilinski settled for second. Scott Mullen finished third followed by Benji LaCrosse fourth and point leader Brian Mullen rounding out the top 5.
Jason Guyette quickly made his way to the early lead in the IMCA Northern Sportmod feature. Rod Solem would make his way to second and start running down Guyette. Guyette would continue to lead until Solem would make his way down low and grab the lead. Guyette would stay close but with four laps to go Guyette would bobble in turn four and Solem would cruise away. Solem picked up his first win of the season with Guyette second. Troy Jerovetz finished third with Eric Arneson fourth and Jake Solin fifth. Matt Drawenek would start fourth and make a three wide pass for the lead on lap one of the Street Stock feature. Phil Hiles would stay close until a spin would hand second over to Jerry Winkler. Winkler would maintain his distance until three laps to go when he would make his move down low. Winkler would stay on the low line to try to make the pass but Drawenek would cruise to a victory on the top side of the track. Drawenek’s win was his second straight. Winkler would have to settle for second. Gary Kasperek finished third with point leader Dan Gracyalny fourth and Phil Hiles recovering to finish fifth.
