N.E.W. DIRT is planning on hosting their first Trailer Race after the full racing program at the Seymour Speedway on Sunday August 18.

Club officials would like to know how many people are planning to participate

In the event so plans can be finalized.

The race will pay the top three positions with the winner taking $100.

 

Mod Tour makes first visit as racing returns Sunday August 4 to Seymour Speedway

Seymour, August 3- The Seymour Speedway is set to return to racing action, tomorrow, Sunday August 4, following a week off because of the Outagamie County Fair.

The return will see the first ever visit to the 1/3 mile banked clay oval of the Badger Modified Tour series. A field of 40 cars is expected by series officials, and with most of the drivers familiar with the track, it should be a very competitive program, topped by a 30 lap feature. Because this is a Tour event, there will be no IMCA or track points awarded.

Also returning to action with full point programs will be the Coors Light IMCA Stock Cars, IMCA Sport Mods, Street Stocks and 4 Cylinders.

Racing returns Sunday August 4 to Seymour Speedway

Seymour July 30- Racing action returns to the Seymour Speedway this Sunday, August 4, with the Badger Mod Tour as the headliner.  The series makes their first ever appearance at the 1/3 mile banked clay oval and will be joined by the Coors Light IMCA Stock Cars, IMCA Sport Mods, Street Stocks and 4 Cylinders.

The Badger Mod Tour has boasted average fields of 48 cars this season and with the modifieds familiar with the track, a strong field should be on hand for the evening, topped by a 30 lap feature.     Being a Mod Tour event, there will be no track or IMCA points awarded Sunday.

The other four weekly divisions will also return to action with full sanctioned, point programs.

The track welcomes Kelsey Coatings of Green Bay and 1st Choice  Auto as the nights sponsors.     They will also host the Kids Club activities with a Bike Give Away and a Coin Toss.

The pit will open at 3 PM with the Mod Tour draw cut off at 5:30.   Pit passes are $25. 

The regular divisions will be lined up by average and late sign in is 5 PM.  Regular pit admission will be charged.

The grandstand opens at 4 PM.  Special event pricing will be Adults $15.  Seniors 55 plus and students 13-18 $10.  Kids 12 and under FREE with and adult.

A full action packed night this Sunday night at the Seymour Speedway that you will not want to miss.
