Seymour kicks off Big week TONIGHT July 14

Sunday, July 14,  9 AM – A beautiful, sunny Sunday for racing action on the 1/3 mile banked clay oval at the Seymour Speedway.   Tonights 5 division program is presented by Swinkles Truck and Excavating.

The pit opens at 3 with driver sign in by 5 PM.

The Grandstand opens at 4.   Racing at 6 PM…SHARP!

Don’t forget.   The inaugural race in the much anticipated Badger Stock Car Tour will be HERE, at the Seymour Speedway, THIS Wednesday, July 17.

Racing will begin at 7 PM.

The Stock Cars are very competitive here in Seymour with 3 and 4 wide racing not out of the ordinary.   With the large local field of drivers joined by several out of state hot shoes, this Wednesday should be circled in red on you calendar.

The Stock Cars will run a 30 lap main event with a $700. payday for the winner.

The pit opens at 4:30.   Driver cut off is 6 PM.

The grandstand opens at 5 PM.

Racing starts at 7 PM

The IMCA Sport Mods are also part of the BIG program.   This will not be a sanctioned event for IMCA or track points, being a mid week race.  They will run a 20 lap feature with $350 to the winner.

This race is not only the first race in the series, but kicks off a three day Swing which travels to the Thunderhill Speedway in Sturgeon Bay on Thursday night July 18 and concludes  at the Speedzone in Oshkosh on Friday night July 19 where the Stock Car tour is joined by big brother Badger Mod Tour.

This weeks action will be GREAT here in Northeastern Wisconsin and it all starts TONIGHT at the Seymour Speedway at 6 PM.

 

Holiday Classic TODAY at Seymour

Sunday June 30 - 9 AM  Finally. A perfect summer day for anything outdoors.

We hope you include the second leg of the 2013 Summer Holiday Classic series tonight at the Seymour Speedway. 

The event headlines with the WDLMA Late Models.   A field of 30 cars is expected and will run a 30 lap feature on our 1/3 mile banked clay oval.

Included in the big night are our regular divisions, Budweiser IMCA Modifieds, Coors Light IMCA Stock Vars, IMCA Sport Mods, Street Stocks and 4 Cylinders.   All are running for increased purses.

Pit gates open at 3 PM.  Pit admission tonight is $20. across the board.  Late Models have a $25. entry fee.  All drivers in the regular weekly divisions MUST be a N.E.W. DIRT Club member.  Memberships are only $10.00.   

All drivers NEED to be signed in by 5 PM.

Grandstand opens at 4 PM.  Admission tonight is $15.00 for adults, Seniors over 55 and Students 13 - 18 are $8.00 and kids 12 and under are FREE with an adult. 

Racing starts at 6 PM...SHARP.

Kick off the BIG July 4th holiday week by seeing the BEST short track racing in Wisconsin tonight at the Seymour Speedway.

Practice Information

April 26 - N.E.W. DIRT will hold a season opening practice session at the Seymour Speedway this Sunday April 28.

The pit gates will open at 1 PM with the track opening at approx 2 PM.   Drivers in any division are welcome to come out and get some laps of their cars prior to the season opener next Sunday May 5.     The track will remain open as long as drivers want to test, but will close at dark.    Admission for the day will be $15.00 per person.

The club will also have parking and memberships available.  Drivers running the weekly Sunday night programs MUST be a club member.  Memberships are only $10.00.

The 30th Anniversary season will kick off next Sunday May 5, with racing at 5 PM.    The pit gates will open at 2 PM.   All races on opening night will be lined up by draw/re-draw.  Draw cutoff is 4 PM.    Racing starts at 5 PM for the month of May.   Pit admission for the weekly programs is $18.00 for members and $25.00 for non-members.

The grandstand will open at 3 PM.  Adult admission is $10.00, Seniors and students 13-18 $7.00 and kids 12 and under are FREE with an adult.
