Races have been canceled for May 1st 2011

The 2011 season opener scheduled for May 1st has been canceled due to extreme amounts of precipitation. Seymour has always set the bar high on having a great racing surface, we do not at all want to disappoint our fans. We will open our season as soon as track conditions are favorable. Hope to see you all real soon!

Seymour Spring Thaw Cancelled

The second annual Seymour Spring Thaw scheduled for Saturday April 9 has been cancelled due to excessive wet weather.

The first weekly, Sunday night points race will be Sunday, May 1 at 5 p.m.  All Sunday races in the month of May will start at 5 p.m., with the normal 6 p.m. start time going into effect beginning in the month of June.  “With school still in session, we’d like to get done by 8:30 to 9 p.m. at the very latest in May,” said NEW DIRT club president Dave “Cosmo” Rihm.

IMCA modifieds, stock cars, northern sportmods, street stocks and sport fours will compete weekly on the high banked, third-mile clay oval.

The Summer Holiday Classic series will feature the WDLMA style late models on May 29, July 3 and September 4.  Seymour Speedway is located 15 minutes west of Green Bay off of state highway 54 at the Outagamie County Fairgrounds

   

Summer Holiday Classic Rescheduled for July 11

Just a reminder to race fans that round II of the Summer Holiday Classic for late models at Seymour Speedway, which was rained out this past Sunday, will be run Sunday, July 11.

We had 21 late models, along with 135 cars in six classes.

Racing gets underway at 6 p.m. We'll see you then!
