This week Saturday April 11...,1 PM

Seymour – April 6- With the Spring Thaw now in the record books., it is time to continue the 2015 racing season with race number 2 on the schedule.

The Seymour Speedway will host another Saturday afternoon racing program this week, April 11, with racing at 1 PM.

Budweiser IMCA Modifieds, Coors Light IMCA Stock Cars, IMCA Sport Mods, Street Stocks and 4 Cylinders will take to the 1/3 mile banked clay oval for a full afternoon of racing action.

There is a Sunday, April 12 rain date set up for this week as well.

Pit will open at 10 AM

Draw/redraw with cut off at 12 noon.

Drivers meeting 12:15

Racing at 1 PM.

Pit pass $25.00 with reductions for minors.

Grandstand will open at 11 ASM

Adults 19-55 $11.00

Students 13-18 seniors 55+ $8.00

Kids 12 and under FREE with [aid adult.

The first point race of the season will take place on Sunday night, April 19 when racing will start at 5:30 PM.

All five divisions will compete weekly.

 

SPRING THAW TODAY 1 PM

 April 4, 7 AM  Looks like it will be a perfect Spring day in Wisconsin.
 
The first race of 2015 will take place TODAY, Saturday April 4 at the Seymour Speedway.
The SPRING THAW will feature Budweiser IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Stock Cars, IMCA Sport Mods, Street Stocks and 4 Cylinders along with the WDLMA Late Models.
 
Pit opens at 10 AM
Pit pass $30.00
Draw/redraw with cut off at 12 noon.
Drivers meeting at 12:15
Racing at 1 PM.
Drivers payoff will be made today following the races.
 
Grandstand opens at 11 AM
Adults 19-55 $15.00
Students 13-18 and Seniors 55+  $10.00
Kids 12 and under FREE with paid adult.
 
It is Spring and may be a bit cool, but if the practice sessions are any indication, racing will be hot on the banked 1/3 mile caly oval at the Seymour Speedway at the SPRING THAW, THIS afternoon starting at 1 PM.
 
Hope you can all make it out TODAY for the first race of 2015 in Northeastern Wisconsin.

 Seymour, April 3- It was a bit chilly, but, 56 cars representing 7 divisions came out Friday evening at the Seymour Speedway to take laps in preparation for the Sprint Thaw which takes place Saturday, April 4th.

Many used the entire three hour span to run, reset and run again, changing their set ups as the track changed. The track was in excellent shape all night and crews started to re-groom the surface after practice wrapped up for final preparations for the first race in Northeastern Wisconsin Saturday afternoon.

Budweiser IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Stock Cars, IMCA Sport Mods, Street Stocks and 4 Cylinders will be joined by the WDLMA Late Models for the full afternoon of racing which starts at 1 PM.

Pit gates open at 10 AM

All cars will draw/ redraw with the cut off at 12 noon.

Drivers meeting at 12:15

Racing at 1 PM.

Forecast looks perfect for the event, so take advantage to get out of the house for the first race of the 2015 season Saturday afternoon, April 4, at the Seymour Speedway.

Racing should be done in plenty of time to make your way home to watch the Badgers move on to the final game of the season on Monday night.
